Bro. Gene has served at First Baptist, Crosby since August of 1998 as Associate Pastor / Minister of Music and L.A.F.F. (Life After Fifty-Five), and as a Certified Biblical Counselor. He leads the Men's Ministry of our church and is actively involved in the Nehemiah Brothers Ministry, which seeks to assist the people of our church in practical ways. It is his heart to bring people to worship the Lord through music and ministry. Bro. Gene surrendered to the ministry in 1967 and he has served since 1971. He is a loving husband of 36 years to Pam. He is also a proud father to Michael and Lisa and "PaPa" to Taylor, Chase, and Hayden. He uses his life experiences to minister to those in need of encouragement and hope.

What is he like?
Gene is a compassionate Minister to all he encounters. He genuinely cares about everyone. He blesses all of us with his gifts of patience, encouragement and worship leadership.
